Mode of Action
POLICE works primarily through stomach and contact action. Once ingested or contacted by the pest, the active ingredient (Emamectin Benzoate) disrupts the insect's nervous system by binding to GABA receptors. This causes immediate muscle paralysis, causing the pest to stop feeding and eventually die. It also possesses excellent translaminar properties, allowing the chemical to penetrate leaf tissues and effectively control pests hiding on the underside of leaves.
